A Complementing Flip-Flop,

Abstract

The complementing flip-flop consisting of primary and auxiliary triggers having separate inputs realized on potential elements, 'AND' elements at the inputs of the primary and auxiliary triggers, and a 'NOT' element coupled to the 'AND' element at the auxiliary trigger inputs is distinguished by the fact that in order to insure functional reliability of the flip-flop under all possible combinations of switching times for potential elements an additional 'NOT' element is inserted into the circuit of the flip-flop; the input of the element is coupled to the output of the 'NOT' element connected to the 'AND' elements of the auxiliary flip-flop while the auxiliary 'NOT' element output is coupled to the 'AND' element inputs at the inputs of the primary flip-flop.
