Adequacy of Income to Cover Expenses While Performing Travel on Government Business.

Abstract

The study examines whether military personnel and their dependents are being adequately compensated for officially directed travel on either a permanent change of station or on temporary duty. Research methods included in the development of the data contained herein include Congressionally imposed limitations, General Accounting Office publications, Department of Defense publications, Joint Travel Regulations, Department of the Army regulations and replies received to questionaires submitted to private industrial firms/corporations.
