Gray Beards and Black Boxes. (The Senior Executive and the Computer).

Abstract

The circumstances addressed are those of the senior executive who, lacking previous exposure to computers, has become responsible for his organization's management information system. The computer's magnifying effect on management's historic concerns with cost, value and long range planning imposes additional stress on the executive. Problems stemming from this executive-computer relationship can best be solved on an individual basis. (Modified author abstract)
