Preliminary Evaluation of the Neutron and Photon Production Cross Sections for Copper.
Abstract
A brief description is given here of the preliminary results for evaluated neutron and photon-production cross sections for natural copper. The data have been contributed in ENDF/B-3 formats to the Radiation Shielding Information Center at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and have been assigned the material identification number MAT 4529 (Mod. 0). Section 2 of this report indicates the methods and data references used, and uncertainty estimates for the evaluated data are given in Section 3. Section 4 lists nuclear-model parameters used to supplement experimental data, and plots of the evaluated data are given in Section 5. (Author)
