Possibility of Using Triple Semiconductor Compounds in Thermoelectric and Photoelectric Converters,

Abstract

Typical physico-chemical properties of the triple tetrahedral semiconductor compounds studied, relative cheapness and availability of components of most of these substances as compared to, in particular, germanium and high-purity silicon, and weak dependence of thermoelectric parameters of compounds on deviations in their composition, from the stechiometric composition help in drawing the conclusion regarding bright practical prospects of these substances as a material for solar thermoelectric generators.
