The wide use of toxic chemicals in agriculture, which is necessary in order to increase crop yields and the productivity of animal husbandry, creates important problems involving the need for prevention of their possible harmful effects upon human health. This requires the implementation of sanitation and hygienic decontamination messures which guarantee safety while working with toxic chemicals and prevention of excess contamination of objects in the external environment. The basic part of this book is prefaced by the presentation of data concerning the toxicology of toxic chemicals and the hygienic requirements. (Author)
