Integrating Individual Goals and Organizational Objectives.

Abstract

The study is concerned with one of the most basic issues in social theory and practice -- the relationships between individual human beings and social organizations. The basic problem would appear to be how people can learn to work together so as to simultaneously satisfy their needs and the objectives of their organizations. The paper presents a theoretical framework for investigating this issue, and outlines a general research plan to explore the framework empirically.
