Measurement of Radiation of the Atmosphere in the 8-12 Micron Band,

Abstract

The development of the methods of measurement of atmospheric parameters with the aid of the equipment which works in the IR region of the spectrum (8-12 micrometers) imperatively requires obtaining reliable experimental data on the propagation of infrared radiation in the real atmosphere. Attention is directed to the creation of the measuring radiometer having high lasting stability and the ability to carry out calibration directly during measurement.
