A Reconnaissance Study of Certain Aspects of the Heat Cycles of Lakes.

Abstract

As pointed out in previous annual reports of this project, the basic philosophy of the research group involves an interdisciplinary approach to a complex of problems related to the terrain-climatic interrelationship along the forest-tundra border. Basic to the study is the use of quantitative terrain and biotic data, field techniques in climatology, and aerial sensing. Summary statements are presented by sub-project.
