Abstract

A report is made of a conference on the use of psychological tests in employment, held at the University of Rochester in 1972. Papers of the principal participants are reproduced in full, covering legal aspects, the role of the publisher, criteria for validation of tests and test validity, and revised test standards. Participants included psychologists in academic, industrial, and governmental positions, and individuals responsible for test use and personnel policies in various agencies, especially the Department of Defense.
