Budget of the United Nations.

Abstract

The paper is a description and statistical analysis of the United Nations Regular Budget from 1946 to 1970, and provides a projection of the budget from 1971 to 1977. The purpose of the analysis is to identify and summarize data on how the budget is financed. An examination of the three ways the activities of the United Nations are financed is accomplished. These include the regular budget, special programs, and peacekeeping operatons funding. The United States contribution to the United Nations is reviewed. (Modified author abstract)
