The report contains summaries of research in the following areas of materials sciences: low temperature properties of materials: metals (normal and superconducting), semiconductors, insulators, helium; properties of materials at higher temperatures: metals, semiconductors, insulators, liquid metals; properties of surfaces and films; inorganic chemical compounds: structure and properties; molecular structure and intermolecular forces; dislocations and other defects; physical metallurgy: powder metallurgy, deformation studies; magnetic materials; non-crystalline solids: structure and properties; mechanical behavior of materials; ultrasonics and acoustics; non-linear optics; devices and application; mathematical - theoretical.
