Harpoon Expendable Turbojet Model XJ401-GA-400

Abstract

The report documents Phase 2 of the development of a turbojet propulsion system for the Harpoon missile and covers the period from 30 June 1971 through 13 April 1973. The objectives of the Phase 2 development program were: Design, fabrication and development of engine suitable for wind tunnel and flight testing; Delivery of above engines to the weapons system contractor; and Technical liaison with the weapons system contractor, including systems test support.
