Technology Transfer: A Synthesis on Target Strength.

Abstract

The transfer of relatively sophisticated information and analyses from the research level to the operational level is viewed by many as a process which will occur naturally through formal university instruction, seminars and symposia, or similarly structured programs. The research group contests this view and suggests that formal procedures be established to create in any given technological area a learning package to be administered through learning centers. As a forerunner to the development of a learning package, one must analyze and critically synthezize the given technological area. (Modified author abstract)
