Calculation of the Velocity Profiles of the Incompressible Lanimar Boundary Layer on a Yawed Spinning Cone and the Magnus Effect,

Abstract

The incompressible laminar boundary layer on a spinning cone at small angle of attack is investigated. Similarity equations are developed for the incompressible boundary layer and solved numerically. The resultant velocity profiles are then used to obtain the displacement thickness and the resulting magnus effect. (Author)
