Evaluation of Atmospheric Transport and Diffusion.

Abstract

The report contains a summary of the results obtained from some preliminary experiments with a set of equations designed to describe temporal variations of atmospheric parameters within and above tropical forests. Solutions to the set of equations are obtained on a general purpose analog computer. The solutions presented include time continuous descriptions of winds, temperature, vapor pressure, and trace element concentration at four heights above a tropical forest and three heights within a tropical forest.
