Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in Southern Spain and France,

Abstract

A visit was made to southern Spain and France to look at medical schools and medical research in these areas. Much of the research was patient oriented except for the National Center for Scientific Research in Marseille where protein is being produced by yeast fermentation of hydrocarbons.
