Biomedical Research and Development in Ireland,

Abstract

The report is a brief summary of R and D in Ireland with particular emphasis on the biomedical sciences. The developing programs of research are discussed and several of the public health problems are identified. The programs of research covered in the report include natural resources, population, education, medical research, public health and infectious diseases. (Modified author abstract)
