Abstract

N OF Thick Dipoles,Waterman,P. C. ;MTR-2555F19628-73-C-0001AF-4140ESDTR-73-131(*radar cross sections, wire), polarization, tables(data)dipolesMany measurements and computations are available for the radar cross section of thin wire dipoles. Results for thick wires (diameter/length approximately = or < 0.1), however, as well as for the cross-polarized case, are virtually non-existent. In view of this, some representative calculations were performed and tabulated using wires in the range 0.1 approximately = or < diameter/length approximately = or < 0.3, for both polarizations.
