Evaluation of Intelligence Collection Tasks (EVICT). Volume I. Main Report.

Abstract

The report supported by Volume 2, is the final report on work performed in response to US Army Combat Developments Command (USACDC) Work Directive 5-72, Evaluation of Intelligence Collection Tasks (EVICT). The study explores the feasibility of a systems analysis of field army intelligence collection. Specific objectives of the study are as follows: conceptualize the intelligence collection system; and, determine the feasibility of performing a cost-effectiveness analysis of the entire collection system. The report describes the results of the EVICT study effort with emphasis on those results which pertain to the feasibility of performing cost-effectiveness analyses of the field army intelligence collection system. The report is in two volumes.
