Helical Resonator for VHF SQUID Operation,
Abstract
A convenient resonator for SQUID magnetometer operation in the 30 MHz - 1 GHz frequency range is described. The device offers a practical means of using an expected linear increase in SQUID sensitivity with bias frequency throughout this range. Experimental results, which demonstrate this effect at 460 MHz, are presented. (Author)
