Simulator for Transportation Analysis and Planning (SITAP) Sample Application.
Abstract
The report supplements previous documentation of the Simulator for Transportation Analysis and Planning (SITAP) by providing a detailed discussion of a sample model application. It is designed to aid the SITAP user by illustrating how a system to be simulated is defined, how SITAP is structured to apply to the system, how model inputs are prepared, and how to interpret outputs. The application used is the unloading of container ships at a fixed port. Current SITAP documentation is identified in this report. (Author)
