Map Type Catalog for the Great Lakes Window,

Abstract

The map type catalog is a summarization of information relating to synoptic map types for the Great Lakes region window. (There is a catalog for each of the 14 windows which cover the United States). The catalog includes characteristics of the map types and listings of each map in the data base (25 years of surface pressure maps) along with its most similar map types. (Modified author abstract)
