Diagonal Norm Hermitian Matrices.

Abstract

Conditions are given that a subset of the real diagonal matrices be the set of all diagonal norm Hermitians (or the set of all norm Hermitians) for some norm. It is also shown that almost all norms have only trivial Hermitians. (Author)
