Meeting the Future Manpower Needs of the Armed Forces of the United States.
Abstract
The purpose of the essay was to examine alternative means for meeting the manpower needs of the US Armed Forces in the future with particular focus on the reserve structures of those forces. The Selective Service as currently operated was compared with alternative means which have been advanced for meeting the personnel needs of the Armed Forces. (Modified author abstract)
