Major Item Special Study (MISS), CH-54A Main Rotor Primary Servo.

Abstract

The report describes a maintenance analysis of 2 helicopter main rotor primary servo. The report is designed to illustrate cost savings which would result from specific efforts in the areas of product improvement in quality and design, and extensions of time between overhaul of major items. For the purpose of this study the cost savings produced in the area of product improvement are based on total elimination of a certain failure mode or modes.
