JP-4 Thermal Stability Survey.

Abstract

A survey was conducted to determine the thermal stabilities of JP-4 fuels produced by refineries in the United States. The effect on fuel availability of increasing the test conditions of the JP-4 specification from 300/400F to 325/425F was determined to be minimal provided a precise method of measuring thermal stability is available. Physical properties on the 19 JP-4 fuels are documented. (Modified author abstract)
