Threshold Behavior of a Quasi-Optimum FM Demodulator,

Abstract

An analytical technique is presented here for obtaining approximate expressions for both the phase and message estimate variances for an FM demodulator. Numerical computation, for both above and below threshold operation, demonstrate the accuracy of the approximate expressions. (Author)
