Connectivity Considerations in the Design of Networks.

Abstract

The notion of a connectivity of a graph is defined. Some basic graph theoretic results are stated. Applications of these results to the problem of design of invulnerable, survivable and reliable networks are discussed. Important pure and applied unsolved problems in this area and their variations are described. (Author)
