A Computer Program for Aircraft Optimal Control Problems.

Abstract

The report described uses a gradient technique having a rapid convergence rate to investigate problems of aircraft optimal control. The Fortran program for the Burroughs 6700 computer and sample output are included for a minimum time turn (3 dimensional) for an aircraft with thrust vectoring capability. The operation of the program is explained and the program variables are identified. (Author)
