Shock Resistant Gage Glasses.

Abstract

A procedure for cutting a shock resistant, chemically strengthened tubular gage glass was devised and documented. It was field tested and found to be sufficiently clear, complete, and relatively easy to implement aboard ship. A ball drop type impact test stand was designed and constructed.
