Critical Survey of Investigations of the Equilibrium Diagram of the Ti-W System,
Abstract
The study results in a conclusion concerning the existence of a continuous solid solution between beta-titanium and tungsten at high temperatures. Divergence in the conclusions of different authors is explained by the insufficient homogeneity of the cast alloys and the effect of admixtures on the structure of these alloys.
