The Effect of Emissions Control Regulations Upon Internal Combustion Engine Maintenance,

Abstract

A comprehensive history of emissions regulation and discussion of their effect upon the maintenance of internal combustion engines is presented. The further constraint of emissions regulations by statute is placing an increasing burden upon the engine designer: various solutions are examined and evaluated. (Modified author abstract)
