Depth Perception with Peripheral Visual Cues,

Abstract

The research is designed to determine if depth perception is adversely affected by a reduced field-of-view, and if it is, is the decrement caused by a loss of peripheral visual cues. Thirty-six male subjects were tested for depth perception on a Dolman device, under different conditions of field-of-view and visual cues. The results are reported.
