A Comparison of January-February 1968 Cloud Cover and Weather Conditions in the Tonkin Gulf--Nortern Vietnam Region.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the cloud cover and weather over Tonkin Gulf and Vietnam north of 15 degrees N. during two months of the Northeast Monsoon, January and February 1968, which exhibited markedly different synoptic regimes. An attempt is made to relate the observed cloud and weather patterns to the synoptic circulation patterns during each of these two months.
