Influence of Some Specific Additives on the Strength of Pressure Sintered Beryllia.

Abstract

An exploratory survey was conducted on the influence of some specific additives of MgO, Al2O3, and SiC, to BeO with respect to pressure sintering processing, and with respect to strength development. Highest strengths were represented by BeO-Al2O3 binaries of very fine grain size and dense microstructures. (Author)
