Evaluation of Large Screen Display in the Automated Oceanic ATC Environment.

Abstract

Specific objectives were to: (1) Determine what utility, if any, the LSD can be to the future automated oceanic ATC system. (2) Determine the most practical applications of the LSD within the automated oceanic ATC system. (3) Determine ocean air traffic controller preference, individual Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) display or LSD, for graphic presentation of ocean traffic.
