The Synthesis of a Trimetallic Metallocarborane by Polyhedral Expansion.
Abstract
The polyhedral expansion of 2,1,6-C5H5CoC2B7H9 afforded the first trimetallic metallocarborane, (c5h5)3co3c2b7h9. Spectra are reported, and structure is discussed in the light of decomposition products.
