Amphibious Medicine Planning.
Abstract
Significant accomplishments of this research contract include the following: Definition of requirements which led to the approval of Advanced Development Objective 43-11X, Amphibious Medical Support Systems Development, on 25 August 1971; identification of fund requirements and establishment of a budget line item; information dissemination and focus of attention on the amphibious warfare medical suuport problem; staffing organization change which provides a central control activity for future work while enhancing integration and coordination of related efforts; development of an active awareness of heretofore passively regarded amphibious medical support system deficiencies; development of a plan for overcoming amphibious medical support system deficiencies.
