New Technology Report.

Abstract

The report discusses work concerned with demonstrating the feasibility of using a gas density modulation technique to determine the concentration of CO2 in hyperbaric gaseous environments, in which the total pressure could range between 15 and 1200 psia. This was done by subjecting a sample of gas to a constant fractional change in volume, and measuring the fractional change in the infrared radiation transmitted through the sample.
