An Analysis of Resource Management in the Wing Aircraft Maintenance Organization.

Abstract

The authors developed a methodology for identifying the location of resource allocation decisions made concerning funds allocated for expenditure within these EEICs. The methodology incorporates the use of data and information sources readily accessible to wing-level managers. In addition to identifying resource allocation decision-makers, the authors also constructed and administered a questionnaire in order to determine the extent of latitude perceived by the decision-maker in making these decisions.
