An Examination of the Gunship 2. Management Approach.
Abstract
The purpose of the thesis is to describe the Gunship 2 system management approach and the lessons learned from its application. The reason for this is to aid future system program managers in their planning for system acquisitions. A chronology of the Gunship weapon systems development illustrates the evolutionary prototype production nature of the Gunship 2 Program and provides a basis for examining the system management approach employed.
