Northeast Atlantic Environmental Scenario.

Abstract

The publication presents a broad climatic survey of five areas in the Northeastern Atlantic Ocean. Over 40 different presentations have been devised to describe the major features of the climate. Most of the charts and graphs depict percentage frequency of occurrence of observations recording phenomena of particular operational significance. Topics discussed include the following: Ceiling; cloudiness; fog; precipitation; storms; superstructure icing; surface currents; temperature, humidity; visibility; waves; wind; and, ice.
