An Arbitrarily Bent Monopole Antenna Above a Perfect Infinite Ground Plane.

Abstract

Hallen type integral equations are formulated for an arbitrarily bent monopole above an infinite perfect ground plane and, by numerical solution techniques, current distributions are obtained. The coupled integral equations are founded upon the familiar electric scalar potential and magnetic vector potential. Numerical results are presented for several cases including different bent angles and are compared where possible with available data. (Author)
