Some Game Theory Models for Allocating Forces in a Narrow Strait Against Hostile Activity.

Abstract

The purpose of the thesis is to summarize some game theoretical models which can be applied to situations of conflict between two opponents. Opponent one's objective is to guard a long and narrow strait, with his high speed boats, against the other who tries to cross. The models considered are zero sum game models, games with different payoff functions and a game with deadline where the game must be terminated in a predetermined period. (Author)
