Computer Analysis of Electroencephalographic Output.

Abstract

The study has attempted to develop mathematical rationale and computer programs for the analysis of electroencephalographic (EEG) output. EEG wave forms were initially studied on a Time Data 100 computer, and then programs were prepared to accomplish EEG evaluation on a PDP 15 computer. The report describes the approach used in determining which algorithms should be used for analysis and includes a listing of the computer programs developed. Included are graphic outputs from the Gould 4800 Printer/Plotter and mathematical analysis of each algorithm used. (Author)
