30 MHz to 80 MHz VHF Broadband Directional Log Periodic Antenna Study.
Abstract
The antenna was designed to increase the range of Army ground radio units such as the VRC-12 in fixed station application. Propagation analysis indicates a range improvement of double that normally available from existing field antenna systems.
