Improvements in the Treatment of Compton Current and Air Conductivity in EMP Problems

Abstract

The note presents improvements in methods for treating the Compton current and air conductivity in EMP problems, including the effects of multiple scattering of the Compton electrons and formative time lag of the secondary ionization. The problem of equilibration of low energy electrons is also discussed.
