Combustion Mechanism of Ammonium and Hydrazone Salts,

Abstract

Many salts of ammonia and hydrazone (for example, perchlorates, nitrates) are capable of self-contained combustion. A characteristic feature of these compounds is the rather high rate of reaction of the decomposition in the condensed phase and the capacity for vaporization. The translation discusses the reaction kinetics.
