Examples Illustrating the Connection between Singular Perturbations and Singular Arcs.
Abstract
Singular perturbation techniques are used to obtain the asymptotic solution of some nearly singular optimal control problems. The resulting outer solutions agree asymptotically with the familiar singular arc solution. (Author)
